Terms and Conditions
By booking a service with Northumberland Garden Services Ltd, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
- Quotations and Bookings
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. A booking is confirmed only once a deposit has been received. Northumberland Garden Services Ltd reserves the right to amend or withdraw a quotation prior to acceptance if material or labour costs change significantly. - Deposits and Payments
A deposit is required to secure your booking date. The remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments can be made by bank transfer or other approved methods. Failure to pay within the agreed timeframe may result in additional charges. - Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please provide at least 7 days’ notice. Deposits may be retained to cover administrative and scheduling costs if work is cancelled at short notice. Northumberland Garden Services Ltd reserves the right to reschedule work due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. - Weather Conditions
Gardening and landscaping work is subject to suitable weather. Work may be delayed or postponed if conditions are unsafe or would affect the quality of installation (for example, frozen ground, heavy rain, or high winds). Any delays caused by weather will not result in compensation or discounts, but new dates will be arranged as soon as reasonably possible. - Materials and Workmanship
All materials remain the property of Northumberland Garden Services Ltd until full payment has been received. We aim to use high-quality materials suited to the job, but natural variations in timber and other products should be expected. Any issues with workmanship must be reported within 7 days of completion. - Access and Site Conditions
Customers are responsible for providing clear access to the work area and for ensuring the site is free of obstacles or hazards. Any delays caused by restricted access, hidden obstructions, or ground conditions may result in additional charges. - Guarantees
Northumberland Garden Services Ltd provides a 12-month workmanship guarantee unless otherwise specified. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, weather conditions, natural wear, or lack of maintenance. - Liability
While every effort is made to carry out work safely and professionally, Northumberland Garden Services Ltd cannot be held responsible for any indirect loss, consequential damage, or costs arising from delays, weather, or circumstances beyond our control. - Acceptance of Terms
Proceeding with a booking, paying a deposit, or confirming a start date indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
